This year, Friends Academy will have its first-ever kickline club. The club was founded by student Alyssa Obioma (Club Leader) and teacher Yoaldri Messina (Faculty Advisor). The club’s purpose is to promote school spirit by performing at sporting events and competitions.
The kickline club was created with the intention of being more than just an extracurricular for students; the club strives to create a tight-knit community for students bonded by a common goal and a love for dance.
The club’s official meeting schedule is still in the works; however, the first meeting for the club will be held on November 6th at 3:30-4:30 in the dance studio. This meeting will serve as an interesting meeting and an introduction to the style of kickline. Students of all dance abilities are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there!
